A wholesale renewable energy fund targeting utility-scale solar PV and BESS assets across Australia's National Electricity Market, with structured capital protection and quarterly distributions.

100,000

Asset Summary
The Fund offers investors exposure to a diversified portfolio of utility-scale solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) assets across Australia's National Electricity Market. Managed by Hash Financial Group and operated by Bara Energy — a joint venture between Heworth Group and HFG — the Fund targets a blend of in-production, revenue-generating assets (70–80%) and development-stage projects (20–30%). Three unit classes (A, B and C) allow investors to match their risk/return profile, with target IRRs ranging from 4% to ~12% p.a. and quarterly distributions paid in arrears.
Property Overview
The Fund's pipeline encompasses 1,145 MW AC / 1,695 MW DC of capacity across six advanced-stage projects, including hybrid Solar + BESS and standalone BESS assets. Revenue is generated through a combination of long-term contracted Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with government and corporate counterparties, and merchant energy trading through AEMO/FCAS participation. The Bara Energy team brings end-to-end in-house expertise, from project origination through to live energy trading. Redemption is available upon 3 months' notice, with a secondary liquidity pathway via the Liquidise.com platform.
