Asset Summary
A fully operational utility-scale solar facility in Queensland with 64 MW AC / 78 MW DC of installed capacity and an annual yield of approximately 160 GWh. The asset has been generating since early 2021, is built on Tier-1 equipment, and holds development approval and land tenure running beyond 2048. The site combines freehold and long-term leasehold land, connects to the regional distribution network at 33 kV, and has space available for a four-hour co-located battery screened at 312 MWh.
Property Overview
The facility was delivered by an established Australian developer and a Tier-1 construction contractor, reaching operation in early 2021 with final completion in 2023. Generation equipment comprises Tier-1 modules, single-axis trackers and Tier-1 inverters, connected to the regional 33 kV distribution network across dual feeders. The development approval runs 25 plus 5 years from 2018 and the land lease 30 plus 5 years from late 2018, giving an operating horizon beyond 2048. Revenue is currently merchant, realised through external dispatch and trading services into the National Electricity Market, supported by an operating record since 2021. The expansion case is a four-hour co-located battery of 312 MWh, screened at approximately A$125M of capex, for grid services and arbitrage. Screen metrics only — pricing and diligence are in progress, and battery figures exclude grid connection, augmentation, financing and tax. Further detail is available to engaged parties under NDA.
